Experience Speyside

One day could begin with coffee in the courtyard, followed by a walk through ancient woodland, a visit to a world-famous distillery, lunch in a local café and an evening watching the sunset with a dram in hand.

Another might be spent golfing, fly fishing on the River Spey, spotting red squirrels and ospreys, exploring historic castles or discovering the spectacular Moray coastline.

Whatever brings you to Speyside, Brylach Steading is the perfect place to return to at the end of the day.

Old Moray Saying

A Historic Highland Steading

Originally built in 1873 as the carriage houses and stables of nearby Glen of Rothes House, Brylach Steading has stood at the heart of Speyside for more than 150 years.

Today, the buildings have been thoughtfully restored into three premium self-catering cottages, carefully preserving their historic character while providing all the comforts of contemporary living.

Since becoming custodians of Brylach, we've continued to invest in both the cottages and the surrounding estate, always with the aim of respecting its heritage while creating somewhere guests can relax, reconnect and create lasting memories.

We often say that we don't really own Brylach—we're simply looking after it for the next chapter of its story. Every guest who stays here becomes part of that story, and it's a privilege to share this special place with visitors from around the world.
